Blink-182Punk band Blink-182 have announced their first US tour since 2005.

The band effectively split in 2005 when founder member Tom DeLonge buggered off and started a new band, Angels & Airwaves. However the band announced on their website in February this year that they are back working together and plan to pick up where they left off four years ago.

The reunion may never have been possible, last September drummer Travis Barker was involved in a plane crash which left him badly injured and caused the death of his personal assistant Chris Baker.

The band are currently working on their sixth, as yet untitled studio album and will be touring throughout the summer in the US with support coming from both Weezer and Fall Out Boy who will share support slots.
