Van Damme Teams Up With Vinnie Jones

Two of Hollywood’s finest tough guys, some might say, are teaming up to star in a new film by Resident Evil: Extinction director Russell Mulcahy.

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Vinnie Jones will play two highly skilled assassins in the film which will be called Weapons. Their characters, Jack Conway and Derek Chase have to begrudgingly team up to take down a DEA backed drug cartel. The film will be the debut production from fledgling company Flagship Films.

It has been said that Vinnie Jones “fucking ruined X-Men“, and Van Damme hasn’t made a decent movie for a dog’s age. If this movie doesn’t have tons of gratuitous and stylised violence it will be in a lot of trouble. Mulcahy was also responsible for possibly the worst sequel of all time, Highlander II: The Quickening.
