Lily Allen Keen On Doctor Who Role

Pop star and TV presenter Lily Allen is still eager to win the part of the Doctor’s assistant when the show returns next year with 11th Doctor Matt Smith.

The singer, who’s the daughter of Robin Hood star Kieth Allen, has told New Magazine that she thinks she’d be ideal for the part.

“Oh yeah, I have my eye on that project. I’m a massive fan of ‘Doctor Who’, and me and Matt are in the same age bracket, so it would look far better if they had someone like me.” she said.

Lily also believes that she would bring an “edge” to the part, which she thinks it needs.
