Cannibal Corpse Blamed In Necrophilia Case

Prosecutors in the Cassville necrophilia case have tried to claim that defendant Nicholas Grunke was inspired to have sex with a corpse after listening to the Cannibal Corpse song, Born in a Casket.

At a Grant County Court hearing this morning Judge George Curry was told that a hat with the Cannibal Corpse logo on was found by police in the back of a van owned by Grunke. The lyrics to Born in a Casket were then read out and given as motive for the alleged, attempted grave robbing and necrophilia of dead girl Laura Tennessen. The judge dismissed the claim, stating that there was no evidence that Grunke had even listened to that particular track.

Nicholas Grunke, along with his twin brother Alexander and a third man Dustin Radke are all accused of attempting to dig up the freshly deceased Laura Tennessen with the intent of having sex with her corpse. In February Dustin Radke pleaded guilty to the offences.
