Convicted serial killer Michael Bambrick has told Irish police he will be moving to the UK this week following his release from prison.
56 year old Bambrick was released today after serving just 12 years for the manslaughter of two women, his partner Patricia McGauley and another woman Mary Cummins. The cross-dressing pervert killed both women during sex, by stuffing underwear into their mouths and suffocating them.
In 1996 Bambrick was given an 18 year sentence for killing Cummins and a 15 year sentence for killing McGauley, but he has been released after serving less than 13 years. The English born sex offender was once considered Ireland’s most dangerous sex attacker, and he’s told cops he’s planning on moving London.
“Bambrick is very clear on his plans. He intends to return to England, most likely London, where he was born.” A friend told The Evening Herald Newspaper in Dublin.
Patricia McGauley was Bambrick’s partner and they had two children together, in September 1991 Bambrick killed her during a kinky bondage session. He hid the body in a box whilst he took his daughter to school but returned later to dismember the corpse and dump the remains at Balgaddy dump.
The following summer he met Mary Cummins in a pub, and after taking her back to his home he killed her during a sex game. Again he dismembered the body using a hacksaw and this time dumped the remains in a field. Bambrick’s then nine year old daughter reported her suspicions to the police and he later confessed during questioning.
Bambrick has refused to confirm whether he will be going ahead with a planned sex change operation.
