Sarah Connor Chronicles Cancelled

Although Fox are refusing to make an official statement regarding the show’s status it is all but confirmed that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will not be returning for a third season anytime soon.

Entertainment Weekly were the first to publicly announce the cancellation, acting on insider information they had received.

“It’s done,” maintains a source close to the show. “Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks.” Adds a network insider: “Consider it canceled.”

Until Fox make it official there is still a glimer of hope for the franchise. Even if a third season isn’t produced this year it may not be written off for good, with the release of Terminator Salvation at the cinemas next month interest in the franchise should increase and Fox would be crazy not to use that. However Fox are well known for axing great Sci-Fi shows for no good reason.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was still pulling in over three and a half million viewers per week.
