Dirty Protestor Jailed For Nine Years

42 year old Sahnoun Daifallah of Bibury Road, Gloucester, has been told he will serve a nine year prison sentence for spraying shops and a pub with a mixture of his own urine and faeces.

In May last year Mr Daifallah began his personal terror campaign in the Cheltenham and Cirencester areas. He first attacked the Air Balloon pub in Birdlip, where he started by threatening to rape the bar staff and finished by spraying an obnoxious mixture of his piss and shit on the pub carpet. Next on his list was Waterstones bookshop in Cirencester, whilst there Daifallah squirted his filth onto rows of children’s literature and dirtied up the public toilets with his dung-device.

After taking two days off Daifallah hit the streets once more, armed with his excreta bottle. This time he targeted a Tesco supermarket and poured his ordure into the frozen food compartments. After that he visited a Morrisons supermarket and covered the meat and dairy counters with his piss and turd slurry.

Police raided the Algerian born fanatic’s home and discovered paraphernalia concerning biological weapons, and a catapult which is considered an offensive weapon.

Judge Carol Hagen sentenced him to concurrent sentences of three years, five years and two of nine years for the contamination offences and 12 months for possession of a weapon.

She added she had wanted to jail him indefinitely but the law would not allow her to.

“Your actions showed a callous disregard for public safety and you caused considerable alarm and anxiety,” she said.

Daifallah may also be deported to his birth country Algeria.
