17 year old Shaun Ross is the world’s only male albino model.

Shaun began his career last year and received a lot of attention a few months ago when The New York Times ran a story about him. But sadly this didn’t boost Shaun’s career as much as he’d have liked. This season he has only been booked at one fashion show, Odyn Vovk, which ironically means “One Wolf”.

Many in the fashion industry are afraid Shaun’s look is far too unique and go for a safe blandness when choosing a suitable runway model. But Shaun is no stranger to discrimination, growing up in the Bronx he’s had his fair share of knocks.

“I really didn’t stop getting teased until last year,” he says. People called him names, “the nastiest one being ‘Cum.’ Not just from kids, but adults too.”
