51 year old Leopold Wrobel has been sent to prison for whistling the Addams Family theme tune at his neighbours.

Wrobel from Wingerworth in Derbyshire is said to have made the lives of his neighbours an “absolute nightmare” by whistling the theme tune at them repeatedly over a four year period. Mr and Mrs Sharpe who live opposite Mr Wrobel claim his whistling has affected their health and family life. Because Mr Wrobel whistled at them whenever they opened their front door they became prisoners in their own home, terrified of the whistler.

The two pensioners used CCTV footage showing Wrobel whistling to get him prosecuted for breaching a previous Anti-Social Behaviour Order for whistling.
