The world’s largest hanging basket was unveiled today in Paddington, London.
The hanging basket is six metres wide and three metres deep, it weighs a staggering 250kg and contains over a hundred different species of plants and flowers. It took weeks to create and build and is now taking pride of place hanging outside London’s Hotel Indigo on London Road Paddington.
Karin Nielsen, a spokesman for the hotel, said: “We’ve taken our inspiration from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the world, and hope that our hanging garden will become a wonder of London.”
