Train Decapitates Man

In another apparent bizarre suicide an unnamed man in La Grange, Illinois, has been decapitated by a slow moving train after lying on the tracks.

The police are still investigating the gruesome death, but haven’t announced a murder investigation. The man was spotted by the engineer on the train but even though the train was only traveling at less than 10mph he was unable to stop in time.

The wheel of the train traveled over the man’s neck as he lay on the track and severed his head completely. It was not reported which way the man was facing at the time.

An autopsy is being carried out today. (Saturday 10th January)
