Andrew Kellett of Leeds has been named as the city’s “dumbest criminal” after he posted 80 videos of himself committing a wide range of crimes on YouTube.
Kellett, 23, uploaded videos of himself racing cars, taking Class A drugs, trespassing and a variety of other anti-social activities. But this week we was banned from the internet when Leeds Magistrates’ Court issued him with an ASBO preventing him from being able to upload any further videos of himself committing criminal acts. The terms of the ASBO mean that if Kellett publishes images or text of any unlawful behaviour he could be sent to prison.
Leeds councillor Les Carter had this to say:
“Kellett must be in the running to be Leeds’ dumbest criminal, he has handed us the evidence against him on a plate.”
Kellett insists that he was merely filming the crimes, and not taking part in any criminal acts himself.
