Soon-to-be ex-Russian President Vladimir Putin(55) has reportedly ended his 25 year marriage to Lyudmila Shkrebneva so he can marry a 24 year old former Olympic gymnast.
Alina Kabaeva is Russia’s most successful rhythmic gymnast, known for her extreme natural flexibility. Alina won a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics and retired from the sport shortly afterwards after a renowned 17 year career.
Since retiring from gymnastics Alina has moved into politics, she has been a member of the Public Chamber of Russia since 2005 and became a member of the Russian parliament last December representing the pro-Kremlin United Russia party.
Besides politics Alina has worked as a model, and even appeared in Japanese action movie Red Shadow.
