In a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph, Cheeky Girls Monica and Gabriela Irimia have revealed that at 27 years old they still share the same bed!
Gabriela told Telegraph writer Neil Tweedie that she and her sister still sleep together in the same bed at their family home in Transylvania.
“We do sleep together in the same bed,” says Gabriela. “It happens in all families over the world - it’s normal I think. I am very close to my sister. Sometimes I know her better than myself.”
Gabriela was giving the interview to explain about her high-profile relationship with Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik. Opik split with TV weather girl Sian Lloyd in 2006 and soon after publicly declared his love for cheeky Gabriela. Ms Lloyd hit out in the press saying Opik couldn’t handle an adult relationship and calling Gabriela a z-list celebrity.
Gabriela insists that Opik and Lloyd’s relationship was over well before she met the politician and resents the “stick” she has received over the break-up.
