Vanilla Ice Wife Beater?

Former rapper and reality TV star Vanilla Ice, real name Robert Van Winkle has been arrested for domestic battery after allegedly assaulting his wife Laura.

Laura Van Winkle rang cops to report Ice hitting and kicking her, when police arrived Mrs Van Winkle retracted her earlier allegations saying Ice had merely pushed her. This didn’t stop the police from pressing charges and detaining Mr Van Winkle who remains in custody at the time of going to press.

Vanilla Ice is no stranger to police action, he has a previous record for domestic battery dating back to 2004 and has also faced charges for driving unlicensed.

Mrs Van Winkle is said to be pursuing a divorce settlement.
