A man in Kentucky in the US is facing 10 counts of possessing inherently dangerous animals, and 15 counts of transporting wildlife into Kentucky without a transportation permit.
Police confiscated two alligators, two monitor lizards, an iguana, a python, a boa constrictor, a gaboon viper, a king cobra and seven rattlesnakes from the 36-year old’s Campbellsville home.
The authorities are still waiting to question the man though, as he was in hospital having his fingers amputated following a nasty snake bite!
Rattlesnake venom is highly hemotoxic and destroys living tissue. This is the kind of effect it has on human flesh.
